Nerd Lunch Episode 2: We gotta get back in time…

The boys from Nerd Lunch and I recorded a sequel to our ground breaking (and Internet breaking) podcast, Nerd Lunch! In episode 2 CT, Jeeg and I are joined by special guest Shawn Robare from Branded in the 80s.  Shawn has been a good friend to this blog almost from the beginning.  You may have heard me mention him several times in various articles plus we even did a huge blog crossover last year in which we talked about unofficial movie trilogies.

Anyway, this week we are discussing one of my favorite topics, the Back to the Future franchise.  I could talk for days about the BTTF movies, but don’t worry, CT managed to edit this one down to an hour.  And it’s a lot of fun.  Come hear the four of us discuss our favorite movie, our favorite scenes, some problems we may or may not have had with the movies’ temporal physics and whether we want to see a Back to the Future Part 4: Marty’s Grandkids.

Announcing the Nerd Lunch podcast

Nerd Lunch Podcast

So, you’re reading this blog and you’re like, “How can I get more of this guy, Paxton?  He is just so awesome I don’t want to only read his words, I want to drink him in.  Every ounce.”

Well, creepy reader, you can’t get every ounce, just yet, but you can get more of me.  Aside from this blog, writing occasional articles for Strange Kids Club and randomly posting movie ads on Held Over, I joined up with CT and Jeeg from Nerd Lunch to start the Nerd Lunch podcast.  And Episode 1 has gone live on iTunes.

The three of us will talk about all topics nerdy like movies, comics, books, fast food, the internets and anything else that pops into our ADD addled brains.  Occasionally, we will be joined by other nerdy bloggers.  It will be a ton of fun.  So subscribe to us, download our first episode and listen on your mobile device or desktop computer of choice.   If you hit up Nerd Lunch here, you can listen to the velvety sounds of our geekiness right in your browser without having to download.

‘Ask A Ninja’ Podcasts are Killers!

I discovered a podcast on YouTube last week that has me on the floor it is so damn funny. It’s called Ask A Ninja. It’s this guy dressed up in a ninja outfit supposedly answering questions from people about ninjas. It is hilarious. You can go to the podcast’s website here to download/watch all the videos or just watch them all on YouTube here.

The Ninja covers topics such as Love, Excuses, The Matrix, Pickup Lines, Ninja Conventions (KillaCon), etc. The guy is so funny and the theme song is addicting. I’ve had it in my head for a week.

Check some of them out, I hope they bring you as much enjoyment as they have me.
