I personally loved this movie. At the time I had not watched the original 70's movie so I didn't have anything stopping me from enjoying the flick. Granted Jessie Biel is very easy on the eyes no matter what she is doing in the movie, but she did a FANTASTIC job. Her display of utter fear was awesome. I also really enjoyed the sequel to the reboot and the prequel they did.

Of course after watching this movie I had to watch the original...which I also really enjoyed. It reminded me more of a Hitchcock flick though.

Both movies used sound effects in a way that made my skin crawl...esp. watching the 2003 film in the theatre with that loud surround sound.

Looking forward now to the official sequel to Tobe Hooper's '74 flick early next year.
