We recently read Frankenstein in class, and I must say that it was one of the best books I have even read. Specifically the part where the monster lives in the hovel watching the family struggle with poverty. It is a very beautifully written book.

Yeah, considering the classic horror status of the book and how it launched the character of Dracula, Bram Stoker’s book was f’n BORING. And very, very hard to read. I’m considering re-reading it for next year’s Halloween celebration, though.
