There was a new Pac-Man arcade game of some kind at E3 this year. Also, have you ever seen Pac Man Vs. for Nintendo Gamecube? One guy plays as Pac-Man and up to four other people would play as ghosts. The ghosts are controlled by each player hooking up a Game Boy Advance to the Gamecube via Game Boy Advance link cable. I've seen at least one copy of it at Gamestop.

Nice article; maybe you should dust it off, since Pac-Man just recently celebrated his 30th anniversary. I also wrote about some of my Pac-Man memories over on my blog.

As for Pac-Land, my understanding is that it wasn't really based on the Pac-Man cartoon, but had the music and Pac-Man's hat adapted in the US version to tie in to the cartoon. I believe in Japan, Pac's hat was more of a Peter Pan-like piece.

Why is the fourth one named Sue? I think I know the answer but it might just be an old wives tale. Just wondering if you knew anything about that. Thanks!

That is a nice summary of the Pac Man series.

The original Pac Man for Atari 2600 was one of my all time fav games for that system. That is one of the 5 or so games that I remembered playing the most.

I didn't even know that there was a Pac Man Plus until now.
